Typo's is owned by Lisa McCormick — a national award-winning investigative journalist and author of 18 children's books. Named after her first rescue dog, Typo the Newshound, the store is her dream come true: a place where children and families discover the magic waiting inside every book.
Located in the heart of historic downtown Parkville along the Missouri River, Typo's will offer a hand-curated selection of children's books, bestselling adult titles, literary-themed gifts, and dog-themed treats and merchandise.
